Event Calendar: Calendar of Kids for Wish Kids Events

The Kids For Wish Kids® program is a great way for elementary, high school, and college students to give back to their community! For more information on Kids For Wish Kids®, please contact Amelia Marquis, amarquis@makeawish-sacto.org.

September- May: Jackson School, El Dorado Hills. Mrs. Maston's 4th grade class is collecting and recycling aluminum cans and plastic and donating the money earned to the Make-A-Wish Foundation!
September- June: C.K. McClatchy High School, Sacramento. Students have organized a Make-A-Wish Club which will put on several events and fundraisers throughout the 07-08 school year. For information on how to join the C.K. McClatchy club, please contact Henry Chen at makeawish.ckm@gmail.com. Or, if you are interested in starting a Make-A-Wish club at your school, please contact Amelia at amarquis@makeawish-sacto.org.

September-June: St. John Evangelist School will be hosting several events and fundraisers to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento Northeastern California. For more information, please contact Judy at 916-481-8845 ext. 206.

September- June: Little Wishes Club, Davis Senior High School. Students have organized the Little Wishes Club with the goal of organizing various fundraising events to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California by fulfilling the wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition. For more information on how to join the Little Wishes Club or on their upcoming fundraising events, please contact Kate Dohn at kdballet@cal.net.

February - June: Students at the Sacramento Country Day School have organized a Make-A-Wish Club that will hold several fundraising events throughout the rest of the school year. If you would like more information on upcoming events or on how to join the Sacramento Country Day School Make-A-Wish Club, please contact Aamir Sheikh at aamirsheikh816@yahoo.com. Or, if you are interested in starting a Make-A-Wish Club at your school, please contact Amelia at amarquis@makeawish-sacto.org.

April 28 - May 28, 2008: The Bonny View Elementary School Student Council is holding a penny drive for the students. All proceeds will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California. If you would like to make a donation, find out how you can get involved, or have any other questions, please contact Jennifer Severin at jseverin@rsdnmp.org.

May, 23 2008: Rocking Productions Benefit Concert. A non-profit charity concert will be held at Laguna Christian Center in Elk Grove. All proceeds will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California.
